📣Call to Action: On Thursday, September 25 from 9:00 to 9:55 AM, please come join us and Legislator Ting-yu Wang 王定宇 at the Community Services Center for a press conference celebrating landmark reform for long-term foreign residents in Taiwan.

On August 29, Taiwan took a historic step forward by passing reforms of Articles 28 & 29 of the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals led by Crossroads and Legislator Wang. With this reform, disabled and/or senior (65+ years) permanent residents (APRC holders) who have lived in Taiwan for over 10 years will be eligible to apply for disability certification and access long-term care services.

This reform was made possible only through Legislator Wang’s steadfast advocacy for foreign residents. Join us to learn more about and celebrate this achievement—and to show your support to Legislator Wang for championing a more inclusive Taiwan. Let’s show how foreign residents are an integral part of Taiwan’s future – and that we support a society where everyone who loves Taiwan, regardless of their nationality, age, or health, belongs.
